Questions About Jesus:

-HOW OLD IS JESUS?
Asking how old is Jesus is like asking "How high is blue?" or "what does green smell like?" Height, smell and color are separate categories. So time and Jesus are in separate categories. Time is something God created. Jesus is God, and God is eternal, He has no begining and no end.
Scripture says God existed for all eternity, before the earth and the rest of the world were formed. (Psalm 90:2)

-HOW DO WE KNOW JESUS IS REAL? The Bible talks about Him, other history books Talk about Him, We also know Jesus is real by the Holy Spirit which witnesses to us that He is real. (Matthew 16:15)
We experience his presence through the Holy Spirit who reveals Him to us.
Reading the Bible is like reading a love letter from God, but we don't learn about God only by reading about Him, we learn also through having a relationship with Him. For example we can read a book about a person like the Prime Minister but we will not really know him, until we personally meet him. It's the same with God, we learn about Him through the Bible, but we really get to know Him through having a personal relationship with Him through Jesus.

-WHY DID JESUS DIE FOR ME AND YOU? God created a perfect world without death, pain and other bad things, but mankind broke God’s laws and death entered the world. God loved mankind so much that He wanted to save them from death. So Jesus came to make a way for people to be saved from death, Jesus defeated death, and He shares that defeat with those that will believe in Him. So the main reason why Jesus died for us is love:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

-IS JESUS ON GOD'S RIGHT HAND? The Bible says after Jesus came back to life he went back into heaven and is seated on the right hand of God. To be seated on God’s right hand means, He lives and rules with all the power and authourity of God.

DOES JESUS HAVE A GIRLFRIEND, OR WIFE?

While Jesus was on earth there is no evidence that He had a wife or a girlfriend.

However, in a spiritual sense, the Church is called the "Bride of Christ" When the Bible speaks of the Church it does not mean a building, The Church is all the people that believe in Jesus. God’s plan in the beginning was to create people with whom He could have a close loving relationship with for all eternity. God’s plan is still the same today.

Jesus is going to be married to the Church, the Church is getting prepared for the wedding which will take place in heaven, Jesus is looking for people who will love Him, and with whom He can rule over God’s kingdom for all eternity.

In the Bible Jesus is called the "Lamb of God" and the Church is called the "New Jersualem" From the following verses we get a better picture of the mystery of Jesus marriage to the Church. (Ephesians 5:25-33)

"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband." (Revelation 21:2)

"And there came to me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come here, I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife." (Revelation 21:9)

"Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready." (Revelation 19:7)

"And he said to me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God." (Revelation 19:9)

HOW DID JESUS COME TO EARTH?
He was born to a virgin called Mary who became pregnant by the Holy Spirit. (Mattew 1:18-23, Luke 1:34-35)

Did Jesus die? How did Jesus die?
The Bible does not say the exact cause of Jesus death. One thing is for certain, that He did die. Jesus was firstly beaten severly with a whip (Matthew 27:26, Mark 15:15), then he was forced to carry a heavy wooden cross, he collapsed along the way to the execution site because of the heavy burden. Then Jesus was nailed to the cross by his hands and feet. He was on the cross from 9am until a short time before sunset which was around 6pm, while on the cross a mysterious darkness covered the land from miday at 12pm until 3pm. (Matthew 27:45, Mark 15:33) Jesus died after being on the cross for about 6 hours. His body was left on the cross for a few more hours, during which time a soldier who had been involved with the crucifixion pierced Jesus side with a spear, and blood and water came from the wound. (Mark 15:33) He did so to make sure Jesus was dead. Jesus death and burial happened on a Friday afternoon, He rose from the dead early Sunday morning. Jesus was dead for about 39 hours, but more importantly He is still alive today and forevermore!

Since Jesus died and conquered death, those that recieve Jesus also share in His victory over death. By recieving Jesus we recieve eternal life.

"But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who has abolished death, and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel." (2 Timothy 1:10)

"Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:" (John 11:25)

-IS JESUS ALIVE OR DEAD?
Jesus is alive, He rose from the dead and went up into heaven. Jesus is also spiritually here on the earth today through the Holy Spirit. For He promised "...I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." (Matthew 28:20) and Scripture also says "...I will never leave you, or forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)

-HOW DID JESUS HEAL PEOPLE?
Jesus could heal people because He was God, and all things were created through Him. Since Jesus has made people, he can also repair people. Just as the manufacturer of a car, has the ability, skill and knowledge to fix the car if it breaks. So since Jesus is our maker, He can also fix us.

-WHAT IS JESUS RELATIONSHIP TO GOD? Jesus is called the only begotten Son of God, He was born into this world through the work of the Holy Spirit, He did not have a physical father, for God was His father. Jesus already existed before he was born physically, He entered this world by being a miracle birth.

Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are all the one God, called the Trinity, Just as humans have a spirit, soul and body but are still one person. The Trinity has always existed, for God has always existed.

While Jesus was on earth he was all God, but He was not all of God, just as a bucket of sea water is all sea water, but it is not all of the sea. The Bible says God is so great, not even the heaven of heavens can contain Him. (2 Chronicles 2:6) That is why Jesus said "...my Father is greater than I" (John 14:28)

The relationship between Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit is a mystery to the human mind. But each of them simply represents one of the three different aspects of the nature of the one same God. (Jesus)+(God the father)+(The Holy Spirit)=One God called the Trinity

-CAN WE LOOK AT GOD? CAN JESUS LOOK AT GOD? I HAVE HEARD HE IS SO BRIGHT NOBODY CAN LOOK AT HIM.
God’s dwelling is in light that no man can approach, or see. (1 Timothy 6:16) And no person has seen God for He is a spirit. But Jesus is God and has seen God the father.

Jesus said that "he that has seen me has seen the Father" (John 14:9) So Jesus is God in visible form, in Him we can see God's character which is loving and holy.

"Not that any man has seen the Father, except He which is of God, he has seen the Father." (John 6:46)
"No man has seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him." (John 1:18)
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)

The Bible says those in heaven will see the face of God, for then people will no longer be limited by their physical bodies, those in heaven will be like Jesus.

"And they shall see His face; and his name shall be in their foreheads. And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever." (Revelation 22:4-5)

"...when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is." (1 John 3:2)
